Course Description
This 3-day intensive course combines the Gallup StrengthsFinder® tool with MIT’s 24-Step Systematic Approach to Entrepreneurship to provide you with a comprehensive approach to starting and launching a business. The course starts with looking at who you are as an entrepreneur. It then shows you how to use your assets in forming a business idea and provides a step-by-step process for getting from idea to launch. The course lets you take advantage of research done with 25,000 startups to identify what leads to success versus ending in failure. If you want to stop relying on trial and error and stories from other entrepreneurs, and instead build your new business venture using a proven process for success, this course is for you.

The Facilitators

Mike McCausland
Founder and CEO of the Leadership Institute For EntrepreneursThe DE process will be taught by Mike McCausland. Mike is the Founder and CEO of the Leadership Institute For Entrepreneurs. LIFE is focused on equipping entrepreneurs with the skills to create, build, fund, grow,and scale their businesses through content, courses, coaching, capital, and community. Mike started his career as an NRC licensed nuclear power plant Reactor Operator, moved into training design and delivery, and later formed a consulting company focused on rapid, large-scale change management and culture transformation. Mike specializes in the people side of change including culture design and development. Mike was also the Founder and the Executive Director of a non-profit operating in more than 150 countries over a 15-year time span. During his tenure, the organization launched two global networks; one focused on business development and the other on disaster preparedness and response. Mike is certified by MITx to train the Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp course curriculum
Kevin Sandahl
CEO of CovalienceThe course will be facilitated by Kevin Sandahl, CEO of Covalience, a 10-year old, multinational software development and consulting firm. In facilitating this course, Kevin draws from his 25+ years of professional experience working for Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, early stage companies, and SME’s across the globe. He has launched and runs 3 companies of his own, 2 in the USA and 1 in India and consults with a variety of start-ups and early stage companies. Kevin is passionate about cross-cultural partnership and collaboration and has worked in over 25 countries while visiting over 50. He has a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, a BA in Liberal Arts from Wheaton College, and an MBA in International Business and Entrepreneurship from DePaul University.

NARINDER AHLUWALIA
CMO at Covalience Narinder makes clients comfortable by coming across as a coach who is understanding and patient. By connecting with clients as a friend he helps them overcome challenges and discover their capabilities. His clients find him easy to relate with, a good listener and motivating. Most of his clients report to have solved issues on both professional and personal fronts. He has logged over 200 hours of coaching with clients from different parts of India. He enjoys coaching entrepreneurs and leaders.
In addition to being a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, he is the Chief Marketing Officer for Covalience Inc, a boutique consulting company offering technology solutions and support to companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500. He is also a regular speaker at management schools in India.

JENNIFER HAMPSHIRE
International Executive Coach at Explore What If Jenni is a supportive and collaborative Coach and Trainer who loves to partner with her clients as they realize their potential and reach their goals. Jennifer Sandahl
Strengths Coach at CovalienceJennifer Sandahl is a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach with over 20 years’ experience in teaching, training, and coaching. She brings a cross-cultural perspective to her coaching and facilitating based on her years of living in North America, South America, Africa and Asia, as well as on her years of professional work, first with refugees and immigrants in the non-profit sector, and recently as a professional coach in Asia. Currently she resides in Penang, Malaysia, where her coaching practice serves private individuals as well as corporate employees from many different nationalities. She holds a BA degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Wheaton College and a Master’s degree from the University of Notre Dame.
